Requirements
• University degree in Architecture, Project Management, Building Studies, Engineering or Construction related discipline
• Minimum 3 years hotel and / or casino operations department management experience
• Track record of large scale and multidisciplinary operations project management and critical path process facilitation
• Proven Project Management skill
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop 2D & 3D
• Work with architects and consultants
• Possess excellent interpersonal, guest service, communication, team building, and problem solving skills
• Deal effectively with diverse departments and have flexibility to work in an ever-changing work environment
• Fluency in English & Chinese, Mandarin will be an advantage
Responsibilities
• To assist in developing and facilitating critical paths for all projects to ensure standardization, tracking and control is in place and used
• To assist in managing, developing, document and facilitate the pre opening tasks (phases) from construction through to opening and Operations
• To assist in managing, developing and facilitating the handover process from Construction to Operations and participating in interdepartmental handover coordination
• To assist in managing and providing a framework for supporting Operations in preparing pre-opening Operating and Capital Expenditure budgets for Operational requirements e.g. R.O.I., staffing, matrix, FF&E and OS&E budgets
• To assist in managing, distributing and documenting all associated project information in a timely accurate manner
• To assist in managing and maintaining external support systems and processes with Construction / Design, Finance, Legal, IT, HR, Procurement and Marketing Departments
• To assist in managing and maintaining internal coordination systems and processes with Hotel, Food and Beverage, Casino, Entertainment, and Infrastructure Divisions
• To assist in managing, and implementing short and long-term departmental goals, objectives, key policies, procedures and processes for Operations Development Team
• Research, advise and implement ‘best practices’
• Work collaboratively with other Departments to accomplish the departmental goals and best practices for Operations Development Team
• To assist in monitoring and evaluating project(s)’ effectiveness; effect changes required for improvement
• Work closely with other Departments in the development and implementation of operating systems and processes; participate in interdepartmental operational and planning discussions
• Handle new projects as required
