Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Hotel management, Human Resources Management or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar role with experience in large size organizations and casinos
• Excellent relationship building, influencing and communication skills to build effective partnerships
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English
Responsibilities
• Develop, shape, and deliver a broad based learning curriculum to meet the business needs and excite participants, inclusive of Food & Beverage and Hotel operations , general skills, leadership and functional skills
• Support AVP and Directors of Learning & Development to formulate learning & development strategy and design intervention to implement the strategy
• Lead the design, development and implementation of new internal and external learning programmes and framework
• Spearhead and coach the Learning & Development leads in their respective operations in training and initiative in standards excellence
• To ensure the quality of learning via developing and managing quality standards and procedures, giving strategic advice and consulting to continuously improve the quality, consistency, new ways of working and value / effectiveness of the training to enable the strategic needs
• Champion the in house Train-the-trainer programmes to develop and coach the Master Trainer Team
• Support facilitation on development programmes especially for operational leadership
• Lead a research and development function and create a library of up-to-date reference resources (studies, articles, videos, templates) relevant to learning & development
• Develop cost-effective initiatives to foster a culture of agile learning (e.g. bite-sized learning events, multi-disciplinary learning groups to implement classroom learnings)
• On an ad hoc basis, support the Food & Beverage and Hotel operations Learning & Development teams through advising, co-developing, and executing solutions related to content planning and development, implementation and review
• Monitor and track the effectiveness of all Learning & Development activities (ROI) across the department; generate opportunities and drive follow-up and improved results
• Develop and manage a curriculum of programs across the department, through direct interventions, leverage of internal best practices and application of third-party vendors
• Maintain a solid external network and keep up-to-date with Learning & Development best practices and new technologies
• Assist with all reasonable duties as instructed by Assistant Vice President, Learning & Development
