Requirements
• University degree, or at least a Diploma in Business Studies, Management, Marketing or a related field
• Must have minimum 10 years of experience working in a Macau casino, hotel or resort, and a strongly established relationship network in the regional and South China travel industry
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience in using Intra-Extranet
• Strong knowledge in Chinese culture and the gaming industry
• Must be comfortable working with various marketing and service technology systems
• Must have the ability to motivate the Travel Services team in a positive fashion to deliver exceptional service and welcoming attitude to guests of the resort
• Strong leadership in managing an operation team of a 24-hour casino/ service environment
Responsibilities
• Responsible for leveraging on strong relationships with regional travel agents and develop a sound transportation infrastructure strategy in support of new and repeat visitation from the region to the resort including guests’ shuttle buses, tour coaches, ferry services and China cross border travel services
• Networking and building good relationship with the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) and participate in the regional and overseas roadshows organized by MGTO as appropriate
• Plan, design and implement measurable travel packages with travel agents complementing targeted market segments and programs in support of gaming and non-gaming revenue growth including hotel, casino, retail and F&B sectors
• Lead the Events and Promotions team to stay abreast of scheduled upcoming events, concerts and tournaments to provide best support in driving visitation and participation
• Daily operation and scheduling of Travel Services team and drivers to ensure quality travel service standards, reliability and road safety for guests, working closely with Operations on fleet maintenance and Marketing Services on projecting a consistent bus/ brand image at all times
• Support card members’ events and promotions as part of Loyalty Marketing & CRM initiatives
• Provide information and insight on competitors’ marketing and promotion efforts regularly
