Requirements
• High School graduated or equivalent
• With experience in similar job role or equivalent or minimum of 4 years’ experience in stewarding positions with working experience in 5 - star standard hotels
• Good communication in Chinese; capable to communicate in English is an advantage
• Able to multi - task and work in a fast - paced environment
• Diligent attention to detail and safety
• Required to work on shift
Responsibilities
• Manages the daily kitchen utility operations and staff include dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance, banquet plating
• Monitors the inflow of ordered materials and the maintenance of current materials
• Inspects supplies, equipment, and work areas in order to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards
• Manages all equipment, chinaware, glassware and silverware (e.g., adequate clean supplies of each)
• Supervises employee ability to follow loss prevention policies to prevent accidents and control costs
• Enforces proper cleaning routines for service ware, equipment, etc
• Strives to improve service performance
• Provides guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance
• Perform other job related duties as requested
