Position: Room & Group Controller - Front Office

Requirements: • High school graduate
• Prefer of previous experience in similar role
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to details
• Possess good manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including computer, fax machine, printer and photocopy machine
• Good communication and written skills with preference of fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and English
• Able to work on shift
• Standing for long durations
Responsibilities: • Perform check-in and check-out processes utilizing established systems and procedures including appropriately allocating rooms to FIT, Gaming and Tour Group bookings, confirming and executing account payment in accordance with established credit procedures
• Maintain current product knowledge of events and facilities of Grand Lisboa Palace including gaming, food and beverage and retail to ensure guest receive accurate, timely information and advice
• Exhibiting exceptional customer service at all times to both internal and external customers when communicating instruction, information or advice ensuring the information is received in a timely manner and understood
• Assist Front Office in preparing, administering and compiling reports as required in an accurate and timely manner
• When required, take reservations from Casino Marketing guests and key into Opera system accordingly
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Assistant Front Office Manager and Front Office Manager from time to time
• Inputting guest preferences
• Prepare daily FIT, Gaming and Tour Group arrivals list by updating guest profiles, assign amenities, and confirming special arrangements
• Ensure all VIP arriving guests’ rooms are arranged according to their preference with the assigned amenities
• Monitor and maintain full knowledge of room inventory, rates and available rooms for arrivals guests
