Requirements
• High school graduated or above
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in Stewarding operations
• Good in spoken and written Cantonese, Mandarin & English
• Good computer and system skills
• Able to work on shift
• Stand for long period of time
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Diligent attention to safety and detail
• Good body coordination or the general ability to move with adequate speed and agility to perform the job tasks
Responsibilities
• Manage daily kitchen utility operations including dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock maintenance and banquet plating
• Supervise and guide employees in day-to-day operations, understanding all stewarding roles to cover duties during staff absences
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas in order to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards
• Manage necessary supplies, including uniforms, cleaning agents, equipment, and tools, while maintaining existing materials
• Control inventories of equipment and all wares and report shortages to designated personnel
• Enforce proper use and cleaning procedures for dish room machinery, service ware, equipment, stewarding areas
• Maintained complete knowledge of tableware use in all F&B outlets and banquets
• Ensure all stewarding staff receive proper training in safety, sanitation, equipment handling, and chemical usage
• Train employees in safety procedures
• Ensure adherence to food hygiene, safety and fire procedures
• Attend daily stewarding meetings
• Perform other tasks assigned by superiors
