Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in IT leadership roles
• Demonstrated record of accomplishment of strategic planning, execution, and team management
• Experience in overseeing technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives
• Experience in monitoring industry trends and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement
• Proficiency in developing and managing IT budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective decision-making
• Experience in monitoring IT expenditures and providing financial insights
• Understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and data protection laws
• Ability to establish and enforce governance frameworks and policies for IT operations
• Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
• Expertise in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive innovation and business growth.
• Good project management, negotiation and networking skills
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and to deploy resources effectively with good time management
• Must have excellent decision-making and organizational skills
• Must have the ability to resolve problems and conflicts
• Must possess outstanding written and oral communication skills in contact with business partners, team members and inter-department personnel necessary to achieve work objectives
• Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese, Mandarin & English
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the organization's objectives
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify strategic opportunities
• Research new technology for various IT teams
• Research replacement technology upon end of contracts to reduce costs and improve performances
• Lead and mentor the IT teams, providing guidance and support for project delivery
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT department
• Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of systems and networks
• Optimize technology performance and cost-effectiveness
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and external partners
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand technology needs and provide strategic solutions
• Negotiate contracts, service level agreements, and pricing to optimize vendor relationships
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
• Monitor IT expenditures and financial performance, providing insights and recommendations
• Identify opportunities to optimize spending and maximize return on investment
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Establish governance frameworks and policies to guide IT operations and decision-making
• Identify and implement new technologies and solutions to drive operational efficiency and business growth
• Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department
• Evaluate and recommend IT initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals
• Succession planning and career development for IT staff
• Partake in IT Service Steering Committee decision-making
