- Requirements
-
• Degree holder in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Information Technology related fields a minimum
• MCITP, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE Certifications preferred
• Minimum 6 years of working experience in server & storage or networking, with minimum 2 years working in large corporation or casino resort information technology
• Hospitality or gaming working experience would be a bonus
• Experience in system & Network monitoring and diagnostic programs and tools, Data Center management and operation, and system environment security
• Knowledge in MS / Linux OS platform (including Active Directory integrated DNS, DHCP and WINS operation) and TCP / IP networking
• Knowledge in hospitality or gaming system and infrastructure
• Proficient in spoken and written both English and Chinese
• Possess of good analytical skill and be detail oriented
• Get along with fellow employees and work as a team
- Responsibilities
-
• Implement and support of IT system infrastructure and facilities
• Provide technical advice for application enhancements and projects
Support the installation and maintenance of network / firewall / security systems and facilities in accordance with defined IT procedures
• Manage access control for system and application securities; this includes the change control policy for security patches and enhancement implementation for server environments security
• Manage and maintain network, firewall and security systems for all company users
• Monitor and report performance status in related to network / firewalls / security system
• Network capacity management for Network and firewall utilization and performance optimization
• Define and maintain Backup strategy for all network and firewall devices and perform restore / recovery when required
• Control and operate company Data Centers, IT Hubs, ELV and IT rooms
• Re-configure and fine-tune server / network to provide optimal cost effective performance
• Handle and report any unsolved IT system and infrastructure issues to management in a timely manner
• Provide guideline and procedure for Hotline / Field Service team to support ongoing operational tasks
• Provide second-level support to Help Desk for IT system and infrastructure issues
• Evaluate new network / firewall / security technology and product
• Monitor and report performance issues as required
• Assist IT Compliance team and provide information and reports for any audit requirements
• Perform vendor management in accordance with department strategies, policies and procedures
• Make appropriate recommendations on internal IT processes
