Position: Duty Engineer

Requirements: • High school graduation or above, possess bachelor degree is preferred
• Possession 10 years of engineering work experience, including engage in installation, maintenance and modification work for electrical and mechanical devices, water supply and drainage devices, HVAC devices, electrical devices, fire fighting devices
• minimum 5 years experience in leading more than 10 technicians working in installation, maintenance and modification of hotel and casino resort or commercial buildings or engineering project among that
• Minimum 3 years managerial level working experience in hotel and casino resort or commercial buildings, able to handle system repairing, ability in emergency response, and human resource deployment independently
• Holding professionally qualification in engineering skill, such as electrician skill certificate
• Can respond to visual and auditory signals
• Work on shift is a must
Responsibilities: • Writing various electrical and mechanical accident reports, malfunction analysis reports and energy trends reports, etc.
• Ensure that subordinates provide professional and quality services to guests and other departments
• Deal with complaints and inquiries from customers (including all internal departments) politely and efficiently in order to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily
• Maintain harmonious and good cooperative relationship with guests and other departments’ colleagues
• Monitor the operation of electrical and mechanical equipment, repair and maintenance to meet the factory requirements
• Familiar with industry regulations and specification
• Able to handle the urgent or unexpected or ad hoc repairing work during duty hours
• Proactively liaise closely with relevant departments to arrange and assign various maintenance tasks to different teams
• Supervise, coordinate and arrange maintenance companies to carry out relevant maintenance work and store records
• Monitor maintenance record data, analyze the type and quantity of maintenance work order, and report abnormal data and trends to the higher level
• Supervise subordinates to properly use and maintain the safety of tools and the accuracy of testing instruments
• Provide technical assistance to subordinates and other departments
• Inspect and ensure the smooth flow of fire and emergency escape routes in the jurisdiction, Pay special attention to equipment that is not easy to repair
• Monitor whether the implementation procedures and timing of all energy-saving systems meet the requirements of the plan, and make flexible control of environmental variations
• Monitor the delivery of new and old equipment, assist engineer to monitor the progress of maintenance, repair, replacement and modification which is outsourced
• Find out frequently failed facilities, draft and submit written improvement proposal
• Familiar with the employee rules and company regulations, explain to subordinates the policies that company need to implement, ensure subordinates fully understand and perform that, also familiar with labor law and regulations
• Supervise the appearance and hygiene level of subordinates wearing uniforms during working hours, and correct those who do not meet company’s regulation
• According to prioritize way, decide whether to instruct, supervisor, and send team members to assist in handling the work that is incomplete by the duty team during the duty period
• Assist in the formulation of technical training plans and courses, participate in the work of mentors, and improve the technical level of existing and new employees
• Assist higher level to compile the performance appraisal report
• Participate in various work-related meetings
• Ensure high standards of personal image, conversation and appearance
• Comply with the tasks assigned by superiors, including work location allocation
• Responsible to assist in electrical and mechanical department of comapny to supervise the vender's installation, testing and delivery of electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with the drawings and construction specifications in the Taipa engineering project
